2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

The Company, in its capacity as Data Controller, processes the personal data of data subjects (representatives of individual/legal entity clients, contractual partners and collaborators, and the data of other individuals who interact with the Company and/or are engaged in contractual relationships with it).

Personal data are:

  • Processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently concerning the data subject;
  • Collected for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes;
  • Adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed;
  • Accurate and kept up to date;
  • Retained in a form that permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data are processed;
  • Processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage, by implementing appropriate technical or organizational measures.

3. WHAT TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA ARE PROCESSED AND FOR WHAT PURPOSES?

For the purpose of completing and submitting the Contact Form (the “Contact” section – Write us a message) on the Company’s website www.doorsmart.eu, we process the following types of personal data: name, surname, email address, and any other data provided at the initiative of the data subject in the “Message” field. The checkbox “I have read and agree to the Privacy Policy” must be checked and the “Send your message” button must be pressed.

Company representatives can also be contacted directly by accessing the mobile phone number and email address (indicated on both the homepage and the “Contact” section) on the Company’s website www.doorsmart.eu.

For the purpose of completing and submitting the Product Order Form (selecting the product by accessing one of the sections “Home” – Unbeatable offers / Discover offers / Explore products or “Shop” – selecting the desired product, pressing the “Add to Cart” button – “Proceed to Checkout/Complete order” – Billing details – “Place order”) on the Company’s website www.doorsmart.eu, we process the following types of personal data: name, surname, company name and registration code (optional), country, city, county, home address (street, number), postal code, phone number, email address. You have the option for the ordered goods to be delivered to a different address (check the “Ship to a different address?” box and enter the new delivery information as well as any other relevant data in the “Order notes” field).
The online payment data are entered, the “I have read and agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions” checkbox is checked, and the “Place order” button is pressed.

For the purpose of completing and submitting the Request for Quote Form (the “B2B” section – select one of the subsections “Supply” / “Smart Systems for Hotels, Offices, Restaurants, and Cafes” / “Smart Systems for Real Estate Developers” – Request a Quote) on the Company’s website www.doorsmart.eu, we process the following types of personal data: name, surname, phone number, email address, and any other data provided at the initiative of the data subject in the “Message” field.
The checkbox “I have read and agree to the Privacy Policy” must be checked, and the “Request a Quote” button must be pressed.

For the purpose of posting a comment (the “Home” section on the homepage of the Company’s website www.doorsmart.eu), the following types of personal data are processed: name, surname, photo of the data subject, and any other data provided at the initiative of the data subject related to purchased products/interactions with the Company.

For the conclusion and execution of service and partnership/collaboration contracts, we mainly process the following types of personal data: name, surname, ID card/passport series and number, gender, home/residence address, bank account number, email address, phone number.

For website visitors, we may collect data through cookies or other similar technologies, such as: IP address, internet browser, location, web pages accessed on our website, time spent on the website, internet network, device used. For more details, please refer to the Cookie Policy.

We do not use your personal data to send you marketing communications, such as newsletters, unless you expressly consent to such communications by checking an agreement box. In this regard, we only process your email address and ensure that you have a simple option to unsubscribe at any time, thereby withdrawing your consent to receive these types of communications.

4. WHAT ARE THE LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA?

Your personal data are processed for the purpose of:

  • Concluding and executing various contracts;
  • Fulfilling our legal obligations (communication with public bodies/authorities/institutions or public interest, audit and control/supervision activities, etc.);
  • Based on the consent requested and/or provided in advance (for sending marketing communications, newsletters, etc.);

5. FOR HOW LONG DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Personal data are stored for processing for the duration necessary to achieve the processing purposes mentioned in this Policy or for the duration required by law (e.g., for archiving, accounting, etc.).

6. TO WHOM DO WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL DATA?

We will not disclose or transfer any of your personal data collected from you or about you to any third party, except for:

  • Public authorities and institutions – when there is a legal obligation to do so or for a legitimate interest (defending the Company’s rights in contentious or non-contentious procedures, etc.).

  • Any third party – if you have expressly and specifically consented to the respective situation and the respective data.

In the event that the personal data processed by the Company are transferred by it directly or through its contractual partners/collaborators outside the European Economic Area, we ensure that these transfers take place in compliance with the GDPR (especially Article 46 of the GDPR), the applicable legal provisions, based on appropriate safeguards (standard data protection clauses adopted by the Commission) and provided that there are enforceable rights and effective legal remedies for the data subjects.
